On April 18, 2024, UP Mindanao executives and managers gathered for a Root-Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning workshop. Focused on problem-solving, the session helped participants uncover the underlying causes of challenges within their departments. Moreover, the workshop helped the participants practice implementing strategies for corrective action to prevent recurrence and enhance each of their offices’ performance and process flows.

The following day, April 19, supervisors attended a similar workshop, tailored to their operational roles. Both sessions emphasized tools to enhance analytical skills to identify root causes of issues and develop effective corrective actions. Attendees walked away with actionable plans for implementing corrective measures that would prevent recurring issues.

These workshops empowered leaders at all levels to drive lasting improvements within the university.
