Between October 18 and 20, 2023, process owners, particularly document controllers, honed their skills during a Document Control Training workshop. The event underscored the importance of systematic document management in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Participants engaged in hands-on activities to master practices for managing, reviewing, approving, distributing, and archiving office documents. Through expert guidance, they learned to establish robust document workflows.
The training highlighted UP Mindanao's commitment to streamlining processes in its pursuit of ISO certification.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao, through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO), successfully conducted an Orientation and Onboarding Session on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) today, May 16, 2025, via Zoom. The session was facilitated by UP Mindanao’s QMS Consultant, Mr. Perfecto Cagaanan Jr., and was attended by newly appointed unit heads, newly designated personnel, and other members of the teaching and administrative staff.
