From July 3 to 5, 2024, a select group of process owners underwent Internal Auditor Training. This workshop equipped participants with the skills necessary to evaluate internal systems and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Participants were trained into internal auditors that can conduct effective internal audits.
Attendees practiced auditing techniques, enhancing their ability to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency. This training is a critical step in UP Mindanao’s journey toward ISO certification.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao, through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO), successfully conducted an Orientation and Onboarding Session on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) today, May 16, 2025, via Zoom. The session was facilitated by UP Mindanao’s QMS Consultant, Mr. Perfecto Cagaanan Jr., and was attended by newly appointed unit heads, newly designated personnel, and other members of the teaching and administrative staff.
