May Coaching Sessions Enhance ISO 9001:2015 Compliance

On May 30-31, 2024, the University of the Philippines Mindanao conducted a focused round of coaching sessions with key process owners, including units such as OVCA, QAO, SPMO, Budget Office, and CHSS. These one-on-one coaching sessions followed up on previously discussed requirements, helping each department ensure they were on track with their ISO 9001:2015 preparations.
Consultants worked directly with each unit to address specific challenges, review progress, and refine their strategies for achieving certification. This session served as a crucial checkpoint in the university's commitment to meet international standards for quality management.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao, through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO), successfully conducted an Orientation and Onboarding Session on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) today, May 16, 2025, via Zoom. The session was facilitated by UP Mindanao’s QMS Consultant, Mr. Perfecto Cagaanan Jr., and was attended by newly appointed unit heads, newly designated personnel, and other members of the teaching and administrative staff.
