ICYMI | The University of the Philippines Mindanao successfully completed the Stage 1 Audit for ISO 9001:2015 on November 11, 2024, led by TÜV SÜD Auditor Xavier Lance Y. Dy. The audit included a meticulous review of the university's Quality Management System (QMS), examining both documentation and physical evidence of quality processes.
Working closely with the Executive Committee, spearheaded by UP Mindanao Chancellor Prof. Lyre Annie Murao, along with the Quality Assurance Office, Document Controllers, and Internal Auditors, Auditor Dy assessed UP Mindanao’s adherence to ISO standards. With the Stage 2 Audit scheduled for December 2024, UP Mindanao is advancing toward full certification, reinforcing its commitment to quality and service excellence.
UP Mindanao extends its gratitude to all stakeholders for their efforts in making this audit possible and successful.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao, through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO), successfully conducted an Orientation and Onboarding Session on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) today, May 16, 2025, via Zoom. The session was facilitated by UP Mindanao’s QMS Consultant, Mr. Perfecto Cagaanan Jr., and was attended by newly appointed unit heads, newly designated personnel, and other members of the teaching and administrative staff.
