Prof. Karen Joyce Cayamanda and Prof. Jennifer Fronteras of UP Mindanao proudly represented the university at the 22nd ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Tier 1 Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment. The event took place from January 21 to 24, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.
This training brought together academic professionals from various ASEAN universities to deepen their expertise in quality assurance processes for academic programs. The sessions were expertly facilitated by distinguished trainers: Prof. Dr. Clarita Carillo of the University of Santo Tomas, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ornlatcha Sivarak of Mahidol University, and Dr. Nguyen Huy Phuc of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
The training emphasized AUN-QA’s best practices, methodologies for programme assessment, and strategies for maintaining and improving academic quality. The participation of Prof. Fronteras and Prof. Cayamanda underscores UP Mindanao's dedication to advancing quality assurance and maintaining global standards in higher education.
