UP Mindanao Strengthens Academic Collaboration in UP Visayas Assessment

ICYMI | Dr. Annabelle U. Novero from UP Mindanao recently served as an External Quality Reviewer in the External Quality Assessment (Type B) for the University of the Philippines Visayas for the program Bachelor of Science in Management. Held from November 20 to 22, 2024, the activity also assessed the undergraduate programs in the College of Management, including BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration, and BS Management.
As an external quality reviewer for the BS Management program, Prof. Novero brought valuable knowledge and insights, helping to make the evaluation thorough and fair. Her involvement shows UP Mindanao's dedication to academic excellence and teamwork within the UP System highlighting the shared goal of maintaining high educational standards across the university.
She was joined by Dr. Corazon Abansi of UP Baguio, who served as the lead external quality reviewer for the EQA of the BS in Management program.

The University of the Philippines Mindanao, through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO), successfully conducted an Orientation and Onboarding Session on the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) today, May 16, 2025, via Zoom. The session was facilitated by UP Mindanao’s QMS Consultant, Mr. Perfecto Cagaanan Jr., and was attended by newly appointed unit heads, newly designated personnel, and other members of the teaching and administrative staff.
