Assoc. Prof. Jackie Lou Tagubase recently participated in the 8th Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Training, themed “OBE Ecosystem Approach to Future-Ready Education.” The training was held from February 25 to 28, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand, and gathered educators and academic leaders from various institutions to discuss advancements in OBE methodologies and their applications in higher education.

The four-day event gathered educators and experts from various institutions to explore student-centered learning frameworks. Discussions focused on refining curriculum development and assessment methods to align with evolving educational demands. Participants engaged in workshops and panel discussions, examining real-world applications of OBE strategies. 

By engaging in international training programs such as this, UP Mindanao continues to foster a culture of academic excellence and adaptability in response to the evolving educational landscape. The university looks forward to integrating the learnings from the OBE training to further enrich the student learning experience and maintain its standards of excellence in higher education.
