On July 8, 2025, UP Mindanao hosted a benchmarking visit from Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSU-Naawan), led by Ms. Rhoda D. Perpetua, CPA, of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance (OVCAF), along with staff from the Financial Management Services Division and the Office of the Procurement Services.

The visit focused on aligning MSU-Naawan’s finance and procurement processes with ISO 9001:2015 standards. UP Mindanao shared best practices in internal quality assurance, document control, and audit procedures, with key inputs from the Supply and Property Management Office (SPMO) headed by Mr. Allan V. Villanueva, the Cash Office led by Ms. Emma Ruth B. Caalaman, the Accounting Office under Ms. Zenaida G. Calatrava, the Budget Office headed by Ms. Joan A. Garcia, and the Quality Assurance Office led by Dr. Ritchie Mae T. Gamot—providing valuable insights for MSU-Naawan’s ISO preparations.

An interactive campus tour was also held to showcase UP Mindanao’s facilities and ongoing quality initiatives.

This activity further strengthens the growing partnership between UP Mindanao and MSU-Naawan, rooted in shared goals of excellence and continuous improvement.
