On June 6-7, 2024, UP Mindanao held coaching sessions with its senior leadership, including the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor for Administration (VCA), Quality Assurance (QA) Director, and ISO project staff. The focus of these sessions was on presenting updates, reviewing the progress of each unit, and discussing timelines for achieving ISO certification.

On May 30-31, 2024, the University of the Philippines Mindanao conducted a focused round of coaching sessions with key process owners, including units such as OVCA, QAO, SPMO, Budget Office, and CHSS. These one-on-one coaching sessions followed up on previously discussed requirements, helping each department ensure they were on track with their ISO 9001:2015 preparations.

From April 25 to 26, 2024, targeted coaching sessions were held for key process owners, including the Budget Office, SPMO, HRDO, OC/PRO, and CSM Projects such as DiWA, API, DENGUE, and PGC. These sessions tackled unit-specific topics such as resource monitoring, competency requirements, and quality policy awareness.

On April 18, 2024, UP Mindanao executives and managers gathered for a Root-Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning workshop. Focused on problem-solving, the session helped participants uncover the underlying causes of challenges within their departments. Moreover, the workshop helped the participants practice implementing strategies for corrective action to prevent recurrence and enhance each of their offices’ performance and process flows.

From March 5 to 7, 2024, the University of the Philippines Mindanao hosted another round of consultations as part of its ongoing preparations for ISO 9001:2015 certification. These one-on-one coaching sessions involved all university units, ensuring tailored support for their specific quality management needs.

From February 13 to 15, 2024, UP Mindanao continued its ISO journey with intensive consultation sessions across all units. These coaching sessions focused on aligning departmental processes with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
